Peer Support Nude Calendar

The Peer Support Nude Calendar celebrates nudity as a natural and beautiful part of existence. It features students in environments that comfort them, showing how they relate their bodies to their surroundings.

The calendar was created to promote positive attitudes on nudity within the SA Peer Support mandate. Each month represents a different interpretation of creation, a different example as to how people came to be in this world.

We cannot sit back and think anti-black racism exists only elsewhere. It exists here too, and it’s systemically embedded in our society, our economy, our health care, our education... everything. We (myself included) have a responsibility to educate ourselves, unlearn our biases, and work towards equitable change. #DismantleWhiteSupremacy

My journey is about my diagnosis with PCOS, but I’m hoping to just speak to anyone who felt shame about their facial hair at some point and is ready and willing to talk to me about it. #GenderDiverse folks are welcome to reach out.

This is a paid opportunity. Interviews would take place in March/April.

Pls Share! I'm looking for potential interviewees Pls Share! I'm looking for potential interviewees for a podcast to run in 2021. The podcast is about my journey with poly cystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and specifically the experience of hirsutism (excess hair growth). I'd like to interview other people in #Vancouver who experience unwanted facial hair growth as well. The podcast is about PCOS, but the experience of unwanted facial hair is not unique to this condition, so it's not a requirement that you have PCOS. The topics of the first three episodes are:

1)	Learning about the diagnosis/when the hair started growing and impact in teen years

2)	Journey of seeking treatment for facial hair removal

3)	Discussion of potential causes, including links of hormonal imbalance due to childhood trauma

Many resources about PCOS focus on the need to change the symptoms we experience, which creates shame, or at least for me it did. This podcast will focus more on the journey to self-acceptance and how you can still have self-love even though you still don't want facial hair.

I'm applying for funding and requesting an honourarium for guests, so this would be a paid opportunity. Work would start in March or April.

Please DM me or email stephanie@stylingsandstories.com if you'd like to share your story.
