Out at Home is a collection of resources created for parents of East Asian youth who identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual. The resources focus on how family support can help youth to be healthier and were created with feedback from advisories and in collaboration with academics at SARAVYC.
Through my role at SARAVYC, I was responsible for writing and designing the infographics, social media assets, and brochure. I also wrote the script and project-managed the creation of three informational videos, which were created by Linnea Ritland.
All resources are available in five languages: Cantonese and Mandarin (audio), Traditional and Simplified Chinese (written), Korean, Japanese, and English.
We developed these resources based on data from the BC Adolescent Health Survey.
